GDPR

is the improved protection of personal data.
In the few points below, we have included all the necessary information about the conditions
and rights concerning new regulations on the protection of personal data for persons
who cooperate with or who are in contact with our agency.

 

What is GDPR?

This abbreviation stands for General Data Protection Regulation, the regulation made on April 14th 2016 by European Parliament and the Council of The European Union on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC.

What does GDPR change or introduce?

GDPR guarantees you greater control over your personal data and knowledge about what is happening to it.

When does GDPR come into effect?

GDPR is applicable from May 25th, 2018.

Why is it important?

We process personal information that you have already provided. Due to the fact that we do not exclude the possibility of establishing cooperation in the future and because we want to stay in contact with you after 25th May, 2018, we would like to inform you about the details and conditions of personal data processing and your rights, in accordance with GDPR.

As a physical person, do I have to do anything?

The most important information for you is that you are not required to do anything more than read the new rules that are presented in the following paragraphs.

Information on the processing of personal data

The administrator of your personal data is GPD Agency sp. z o.o. sp. k., with its registered office on ul. Roosevelta 18, 60-829 Poznań, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register maintained by the Poznań-Nowe Miasto and Wilda District Court in Poznań, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under number: 0000527454, REGON: 302860051, NIP PL: 7811902177 (hereinafter referred to as Administrator).

Your personal data is processed on the basis of:

a) Art. 6 par. 1 a of GDPR based on consent, if such consent has been given (e.g., in terms of participation in recruitment procedures);
b) Art. 6 par. 1 b of GDPR in order for us to take action upon your request, related to establishing cooperation between you and GPD Agency sp. z o.o. sp. k., whereas for those with whom we have concluded at least one contract, the data is also processed in connection with and for the purpose of its implementation;
c) Art. 6 par. 1 c of GDPR in order to fulfill the legal obligation of the Administrator (e.g., accounting regulations and tax regulations);
d) Art. 6 par. 1 f of GDPR, i.e. for purposes resulting from legitimate interests pursued by the Administrator, consisting of:
  • the organisation and conduction of competitions and promotional campaigns,
  • direct marketing services,
  • archiving documents, including files related to commercial contact, such as portfolios, offers and inquiries, for the purposes of enabling us to establish cooperation with you,
  • pursuing or securing claims,
  • conducting quality analyses and statistics on the services and projects carried out.

Who has access to my personal data?

The recipient of your personal data is the Administrator, its authorised employees and associates, as well as IT administration services, including the hosting service provider and IT systems, employees and collaborators of such entities and other entities cooperating with the Administrator, e.g., clients, and their employees or colleagues.

Your personal data will not be processed in the form of profiling (automated decision-making), nor will it be transferred to third parties.

What am I entitled to under GDPR?

You have the right to ask the Administrator to access, rectify, delete, limit the processing of, object to the processing of, and request a transfer of your data. In the case of data processing based on the consent granted, such consent may be revoked by you at any time (withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing, which was made on the basis of consent before its withdrawal).

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection or another supervisory authority (introduced in its place), when the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of GDPR in your estimation.

How long will my data be stored by GPD Agency?

The period for which personal data will be stored:

a) personal data processed in order to conclude or perform the contract or fulfill the Administrator’s legal obligation will be kept for the duration of the contract, and after its expiry for the period necessary to secure or seek any claims of and related to the Administrator, and will be kept for the period necessary to fulfill the legal obligation of the Administrator (e.g., resulting from tax or accounting regulations);
b) personal data processed for purposes resulting from legitimate interests pursued by the Administrator will be processed until an objection to such processing has been filed,
c) personal data processed on the basis of consent will be processed until its cancellation.
