Our latest campaign for Lidl Polska is a wild and wacky journey through the world of history and legends which proves that Poles have always been frugal!

Lidl’s prices have ushered in a new era of saving – something you can now do every time you shop. In 3 unusual television spots, we presented historical and legendary figures that every Pole knows: Polish king Mieszko I, painter Jan Matejko, and the shoemaker who killed the Wawel Dragon. But what do a ruler of the Middle Ages, a famous painter, and a legendary dragon specialist have in common? Frugality! Each of them was a smart saver.

Our campaign was a hit with Lidl’s audience. The teaser got over 2 million views in just a week, and each individual spot prompted tons of positive comments. But we weren’t surprised, because it’s not every day that you get the chance to travel back in time!
